The Superior Pool Co is the lower North Island Franchise of Auckland based company, Superior Pools.

The strong belief of the whole company is that we put huge store in the quality family time that a swimming pool creates.

It doesn’t take long for our kids to grow up, and if you don’t make a conscious decision to spend quality time with them, you miss out on some amazing family memories and bonding.

Our experience tells us that there’s nothing that gives such interactivity with kids as a swimming pool. And this is true even when they’re teenagers.

A whole family spending time around the pool, on beautiful warm days, results in hours and hours of really special times that no one in the family will forget.

The Superior Pool Co of the Lower North Island

The Superior Pool Co is owned and operated by me – Tony Weinberg.

I have been running a pool installation company for the past 10 years, but I recently switched to Superior Pools products because I believe they have the best product on the market, for a great price.

Before installing pools I spent 15 years working in NZ film and television, in set design as well as camera operation.

And while I did the stop-start work of film and tv, I ran a landscaping company. That company ran for 20 years, until I switched to pool installation (pool installation involves a huge amount of landscaping, so I suppose I haven’t really stopped doing that work).

In my own life, having a swimming pool has been fantastic for my relationship with my daughter who’s now teenage.

It has meant that in summer, I’ve got to spend time with her and her friends and seen her develop socially. Just making my house more of a destination has meant I’ve got to spend more quality time with her, as she becomes increasingly independent.

Superior Pools has been manufacturing fibreglass products for over 25 years.

Our manufacturing facility in Tauranga is one of New Zealand’s premier fibreglass manufacturing facilities. It is fully humidity and temperature controlled, which is key to producing quality pools.

When you buy a Superior Pool you also buy a 25 year structural warranty, from a long-lived and successful NZ company that will be there to back up the products they sell.
